First you have to determine what is the calorie intake you would like to start at. The safe way to lose weight is not go below 1,200 calories. People some times want to lose so much that they resort to extreme measures. Try to avoid diets that don’t allow you enough food, don’t choose a diet that lets you eat specific foods or foods that are required to be eaten in a certain order.

Don’t skip meals or substitute them for emergency drinks and protein bars. Don’t take powders, or large amount of vitamins. Sometime as great as a diet sounds they are not always safe for you. You may lose some weight but once you stop following that diet the weight comes back. You want to choose a diet that is healthy and natural. The key to any diet is moderation, you can eat almost anything you choose as long as you keep the portions in check. For example, you can have pizza on the diet but instead of having two slices cut down to one. Leave off the pepperoni and sausage.

If you are looking for a natural way top lose weight then try a breakfast of toast and a bowl of cereal and instead of butter on your toast try jelly or low fat margarine. Add a piece of fruit and a cup of coffee or tea, they have no calories and you only have to add the calories from milk and sugar if you take them that way. For lunch you can have pizza ( one slice ) or if you want to eat healthy you can have a fruit salad or a chicken salad or a plain old green salad. Dinner is when people like to eat well. But dinner is the time to eat small. Some people actually switch lunch and dinner. They eat heavy for lunch and a light dinner. You don’t want to eat heavy and sleep on a full stomach. Grilled Chicken or Fish are good choices, as well as vegetables and a rice dish. Try not to cut out everything you like because chances are your diet will fail if you start to deprive yourself of a special food that you like. Remember to keep it in moderation.

Search online, they have hundreds and hundreds of low calorie natural diets. You can find one that sits your life style and your taste buds. Don’t for get to exercise and you will start to see a weight loss sooner rather than later.

Stick to your diet, if you cheat one day, it is ok just get back on the diet the next day.
